This a tool for mitering the upper front corners of clamshell-box trays. The diagonal edge creates a flap to cover the front edge of a tray wall, and the straight edge creates a flap that folds down to the cover the inside. The dimension on the tool is .030” over the suggested board thickness. These come in a wide range — .110” (2.8mm), .130” (3.3mm), .150” (3.8mm), .200” (5mm), .240” (6mm), .280”(7mm) — to accommodate double walled boxes. The cutting length is 5". This cut was first shown to me by John DeMerritt. Laser-cut stainless steel.
